A new day overflows
the wetlands, the night
falls asleep in the cold water.
I made this photo on a cold autumn morning in the nature reserve Agger Tange. The swampy pastures of this part of nature reserve Nationalpark Thy are wedged between the dunes of the North Sea and Krik Vig, a bay in the Limfjord. The area has a special tranquility. It is never silent: the singing of many species of birds is accompanied by the singing of the wind and the humming of the surf.
Agger Tange is a wetlands area just south of the coastal town of Agger on the North Sea coast of northwest Jutland, Denmark.
