In the bay of placidity,
searching for shelter
for the noise of this day
The nature reserve Agger Tange, about 15 kilometers from my house (but less than 4 kilometers as the crow flies) is a true haven of silence. The rustling of the wind, the surf of the nearby North Sea and every now and then the sounds of birds, are the only sounds you hear.
A shelter for the hectic and the noise of the civilized world…
‘Shelter’ is a photo in the series ‘Float above deserted marshes’, part of the gallery ‘Untouched land‘, made in the nature reserve Agger Tange.
Agger Tange is a wetlands area just south of the coastal town of Agger on the North Sea coast of northwest Jutland, Denmark.
