Experimental photography: Solar Magic – A Kiss

As you probably already know, the electronics of one of my digital cameras has a will of its own, now that it’s starting to come of age.
Especially in bright light, he conjures up the most bizarre colors.

And that is of course a wonderful reason to experiment by aiming the camera at a relatively bright light source: the setting sun.
Today and tomorrow two photos I’m scoring under the title ‘Experimental Photography – Solar Magic’.

Today’s photo: a sunset just above the treetops. The camera seems to be blinded by the last rays of the sun. Have you ever looked a little too straight at the sun? When you then close your eyes, beautiful colored spots appear on your retina. Well, this is just like that…
