Seeing where the sun
dives into the blue water –
An island is born.

‘An island’ is a new photo in the series ‘Who’s afraid of…’, part of the gallery Untouched land.

The photos in this series have been made in March 2019 in south and south east Sweden.
I made this photo on a walk on a bright sunny day in nature park Lövö, a peninsula on the Baltic coast in the Kalmar region.

  1. Ach, lieber Jacob, ich liebe Inseln. Habe fast ein Jahr auf der Insel Hiddensee gelebt und hier auf vielen gearbetet (Robben-, Dassen-, Malgas-,Jutten-) Mein letzter Rest wird auf eine der geliebten Inseln gehen oder in das Meer rundherum.. Eben hier an einem stuermischen Tag an der See, befand ich mich ploetzlich auf einer Insel. Die wilde See hatte sich weiter am Land geschlossen. Ist das auf DEinem Bild eine Insel? ES sieht mehr aus wie eine Peninsula! Ist ist ein schoenes Bild!

    • Vielen Dank für deinen schönen Kommentar, liebe Ariane. Ja, Inseln sind magisch. Ich denke, weil das Meer immer in Ihrer Nähe ist. Auf dem Bild siehst du einen Teil einer kleinen Insel vor der schwedischen Küste.
