A series of impressionist and abstract realistic photos in the gallery Enchanted Forests.
The photos in this series are all made in the vicinity of my home town Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
A wooded area with old and quiet natural forests and relatively young planted woods.
It’s always a surprise where a path will bring you…
I started adding links to my artworks on Saatchi Art, and contact forms with which you can ask for a quote.
Even if the links have not yet been added, the photo is of course available as a print. In that case, please fill in the general contact form.

Came early one morning
In a sky so clear and blue
Came without warning
So no one knew what to do
Nick Drake – Saturday sun
Colored by the
a summer morn
I dreamed myself a path last night…
Below a four-part black and white project, in which I photographed tree lanes as a charcoal like sketch.
I made these photos in the vicinity of the city of Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
push me to the light
whispers my name
Walking in silence
between the shadows
of dreams to come
My mind travels ahead,
the echo tells me what awaits
In the morning of my dream
only shadows will remain
echoing the light of my thoughts
The young leaves adorn the old
brown vaults, in the east the sun
smiles when she evades the horizon
Swirling winds of light embrace the trees,
unfolding the young leaves
and playing a sunny serenade on the branches
Noble trees stretch out
Their arms to gently
Catch the sunbeams
When they fall
A breeze of light wanders
Through the the woods,
Leaving open spaces
Where it touches the ground.
In the translucent haze
Of the rising sun,
An emerald paints
In the solitude of the forest,
silence leads my memories
on the path to the future
She kisses the young leaves
and plays a shadow game
with where I put my feet
