On a never ending quest
Birds fascinate me, capturing their movement is challenging and inspiring.
Gulls and terns on the coast of Denmark are a great source of inspiration, but also the photographing of urban gulls in the city of Nijmegen (The Netherlands) or a group of swans or geese in the sky above nature reserve Agger Tange, north Jutland, results in special fine art photos.
I started adding links to my portfolio on Saatchi Art, and contact forms with which you can ask for a quote.
Even if the links have not yet been added, the photo is of course available as a print. In that case, please fill in the general contact form for more info or a quote.

A fight against the wind,
the heads bent to withstand the briny sea,
their eyes wide open on a never ending quest
One with the waves,
without fear, jumping from
wave crest to wave crest,
diving into the deepest
trough, to re-emerge
and rise to the clouds.
The gulls are greedy, they do not know
That everything goes back to the sea
Once caught by the undertow
Wind and water blend into an icy mist,
The birds immerse themselves into the salty breeze
In a wild dance with the breaking waves
Hovering into a new day, let yourself be carried by the wind.
Let go and trust the waves to bring you what you need.
My eyes followed
the bird soaring to the sky
encountered the lost twin
a new horizon

…The Future and the Past are idle shadows
Of thought’s eternal flight—they have no being…
Percy Bysshe Shelley – Hellas
Intense cold silence,
suddenly they emerge
from the water, disturbed
by a bright winter light
From the cold of long dark nights the soul revives
to be cherished
by the light
Into the rhythm of your heart
from time and space
